Kuala Lumpur Reviews Once is enough  Positive Points:
a. 4 & 5 star hotel rates are great.. much better than neibouring Bangkok and Singapore.
b. Easy availability of taxi and public transport.
c. Petronas Tower is awesome... pro-con  I grew up here, haven't live here for a long time but occasionally go home for vacation. Here are my thoughts
Pros: Food is very delicious and cheap and somewhat more hygienic than say Mexico... Old KL hand  What bugs me? Americans who go to KL and eat at McDonalds and TGFs. There is good food of many types, Malaysian, Indian, and Hokian, just to name a few to be found everywhere. The best is in... kuala lumpur---bad taxi drivers! the taxi drivers are really bad and dont know how to listen to their passengers. they are also liars and charge to much on their passengers. they are supposed to be metered taxi but they charge... What i thought of KL  KL was an okay place for a stop over, I wont be going back there again though.
Batu Caves are great.
But a warning to everyone, I was there at the end of 2007 and locals were trying anything to... Dirty Toilets VERY2 VERY2 DIRTY RESTROOM!!!but nice flytrain..the people are so means too international tourist,
expesialy too means to thai and indonesian tourist..
the people have bad fahsion too..
sory... nice place to visit definitely will be going again next year...especially the f1 race......kl is great place to have fun...... Not worth the trip Nothing really interesting. Unless you are going there for other reasons, there is no need to see this place. It is nothing like Bangkok, Rangoon or any other historical places in SE Asia. Also... Good over-all KL is a great city over-all. It's not really a big city and easy enough to get around, thanks to the monorail and mass transit system.
It's clean and lots of shopping especially around... Good Place Was there for a 24 hour lay hour. I am an experienced traveler, especially in Asia.
